Cameron was 32 years old and with a record of 18-0 (8), and Taylor was 36 years old and with a record of 22-0 (6). Cameron won the fight via 10-round majority decision and successfully defended her titles.
On May 21, 2022 Chantelle Cameron met Victoria Bustos in a super-lightweight (WBC, IBF and The Ring) world-title defense fight. Cameron was 31 years old and with a record of 16-0 (8), and Bustos was 33 years old and with a record of 23-6 (0). Cameron won the fight via 10-round unanimous decision and successfully defended her titles.
