On April 4, 2015 Carlos Cuadras met Luis Concepción in a super-flyweight (WBC) world-title defense fight. Cuadras was 26 years old and with a record of 32-0-1 (25), and Concepción was 29 years old and with a record of 32-3 (23). Cuadras won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and successfully defended his title.
On November 17, 2023 Carlos Cuadras fought Pedro Guevara in a super-flyweight world-title fight for the WBC title. Cuadras was 35 years old and with a record of 42-5-1 (28), and Guevara was 34 years old and with a record of 40-3-1 (22). Cuadras won the fight via 12-round split decision and is crowned the new super-flyweight world champion.
