McGirt won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision and is crowned the new welterweight world champion.
On April 9, 1994 Buddy McGirt faced off against Livingstone Bramble at age 30. He was coming in with a record of 62-3-1 (44), and Bramble was 33 years old and with a record of 36-12-3 (23). McGirt won the fight via 12-round unanimous decision.
