On May 23, 2015 Andre Dirrell fought James DeGale in a super-middleweight world-title fight for the IBF title. Dirrell was 31 years old and with a record of 24-2 (16), and DeGale was 29 years old and with a record of 20-1 (14). Dirrell lost the fight via 12-round unanimous decision.
