      Denny Moyer was an American professional boxer. He was born in Portland, Oregon, USA on August 8, 1939. He was a super-welterweight world champion. Moyer died on June 30, 2010 at the age of 70 years. His professional boxing career spanned more than 17 years — from 1957 to 1975.

      Moyer made his professional boxing debut against Jimmy McCoy at the age of 18 on August 17, 1957, defeating McCoy via 4 round PTS. He went on to win 19 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 4 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 19 on July 10, 1959 after 20 professional fights, against Don Jordan for the NBA, NYSAC, and The Ring titles. He lost to Jordan via 15 round unanimous decision.
