Kenshiro Teraji

Kenshiro Teraji was born in Jōyō, Kyoto, Japan on January 6, 1992. He made his professional debut at the age of 22 years on August 3, 2014 against Heri Amol. Teraji defeated Amol via 6-round unanimous decision, making a successful beginning of his pro career.

Teraji became a world champion at the age of 25 after 9 professional fights. He challenged Ganigan López for the WBC light-flyweight title and defeated the champion via 12-round majority decision, winning his first world title.

He then went on to successfully win the WBA and The Ring light-flyweight world titles as well.

Teraji's latest fight was a majority decision victory over Carlos Canizales at age 32, on January 23, 2024, in which he successfully defended his WBA (Unified), WBC, and The Ring light-flyweight championship.
