      Bobby Czyz (Matinee Idol) is a 62-year old retired American professional boxer. He was born in Orange, New Jersey, U.S. on February 10, 1962. He is a former two-weight-class world champion. His professional boxing career spanned more than 18 years — from 1980 to 1998.

      Czyz made his professional boxing debut against Hank Whitmore at the age of 18 on April 24, 1980, defeating Whitmore via 1st round KO. He went on to win 19 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 14 wins via stoppage.
