      Yuri Foreman (The Lion of Zion) is a 43-year old retired Israeli professional boxer. He was born in Gomel, Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic, USSR on August 5, 1980. He is a former super-welterweight world champion. His professional boxing career spanned more than 19 years — from 2002 to 2021.

      Foreman made his professional boxing debut against Israel Felix at the age of 21 on January 24, 2002, defeating Felix via 1st round TKO. He went on to win 26 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 7 wins via stoppage.
