      Riddick Bowe (Big Daddy) is a 56-year old retired American professional boxer. He was born in Brooklyn, New York CityNew York, U.S. on August 10, 1967. He is a former heavyweight world champion. Bowe was inducted into the International Boxing Hall of Fame (IBHOF) in 2015. His professional boxing career spanned more than 19 years — from 1989 to 2008.

      Bowe made his professional boxing debut against Lionel Butler at the age of 21 on March 6, 1989, defeating Butler via 2nd round TKO. He went on to win 33 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 28 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 25 on November 13, 1992 after 31 professional fights, against Evander Holyfield for the heavyweight WBA, WBC, and IBF titles. He defeated Holyfield via 12 round unanimous decision to become the heavyweight champion of the world.
