      Dariusz Michalczewski (Tiger) is a 55-year old retired Polish professional boxer. He was born in Gdańsk, Poland on May 5, 1968. He is a former two-weight-class world champion. His professional boxing career spanned more than 13 years — from 1991 to 2005.

      Michalczewski made his professional boxing debut against Frederic Porter at the age of 23 on September 16, 1991, defeating Porter via 2nd round TKO. He went on to win 47 more consecutive fights after the debut, which included 37 wins via stoppage.

      He had his first world title fight at the age of 26 on September 10, 1994 after 23 professional fights, against Leeonzer Barber for the light-heavyweight WBO title. He defeated Barber via 12 round unanimous decision to become the light-heavyweight champion of the world.
